Disco Disco Disco Let’s Go!
Vocal Artists students at Trafford College took part in their final show Disco Disco to a packed audience at The Zion Centre. The show was a spectacular, and colourful array of full on song and dance routines from the disco era. Vocal Artist tutors Sweet Female Attitude performed a guest slot.
Club Atom @ The Attic
Trafford College student Matt Foster, aka DJ Havock, recently performed at the Manchester Club Atom night.
The night, took place at The Attic at the start of June and saw selected students perform alongside many acts including Small Morris and Nebula2.
Bill Bruford visits students
The legendary Bill Bruford, of Genesis and Earthworks fame, visited college students at Trafford College. Bill talked to the music students about his career, his philosophy on drumming including varying styles over 4 decades and career strategies in the music industry. Bill delivered his presentation to a packed audience. Students were also treated to archive video footage, which gave an overview of his 41 years in the business.
Urban Music Gig at Unity Radio
Students at the Manchester Music Base on the Creative Music Producer course recently entertained audiences at the Urban Music Gig at Unity Radio. The night was a great success with a line up of drum and bass, trance and MC’s including DJ Havoc who has been played on BBC Radio 1xtra, DJ’s ReKreation who have a monthly slot at Sankeys and W8TY who regularly performs at venues across Manchester.
